This is a video compilation from the Scrap Metal and Ambient Music Summit, held in Bisbee, Arizona, during the Pride festival in June 2017, around the summer solstice.
The Mine Shaft Bucket, in the town plaza, and the Free Store up the street from it were used as the locations for this collaborative event.
The video came as a social media memory; it’s a slice of my creative life in Arizona and of an experience in the historic copper mining town. This was part of the revival of Found Objects of Desire; the Perse-phone metal musical instrument I played had recently been created with Clark. I also was learning to wrap and polish stones with Real Things Artisan Coop at this time, and we had set up a table in oldtown nearby. Participants include: Clark Trujillo, Damian Rayn (Loki Wyrd), Tommie Tooter, Gypsy, Anteater, and me, Arianna.
