WELCOME…

…to “a mostly informational, sometimes rambling personal, even typical, mystical, multi-sensory mobile storytelling experience.”

I started this blog in 2015, while in South America, to share mindfully descriptive stories of the interesting places I’ve been, to bring you along on my journey using multiple media and different viewpoints.

Currently, I live in Virginia and North Carolina with my family, and so my focus has returned to exploring locations in this region, such as the Appalachian mountains and eastern seaboard. I’ve enjoyed camping and hiking since childhood, and remain in awe of the beauty of nature. I wrote the family trip journal for several years, and continue this passion here and hopefully on other sites as well! As an adult my interests also include local and obscure history, geography, geology, rocks and jewelry, music, and “life-as-art.” In 2023, I started an etsy shop for my handmade gemstone jewelry, and now I set up at gem shows and local fairs, continuing to learn as I go and integrate my interests.
