Franklin, NC gem show is coming

This upcoming week, I’ll be in Franklin, NC for the summer gem and mineral shows. The show dates are July 24-28, and you can find me and my jewelry at El Paso Rock Shop’s tent in the G&LW Watauga festival ground on US Hwy 23/441 (6295 Sylva Rd, Franklin, NC 28734, north of town).

Franklin’s setting in a valley surrounded by forested mountains with an abundance of gemstones makes it a beautiful, creatively inspiring place to spend time. Even when the shows aren’t going on, one can find gems at places like Sheffield Mine (which also has some of my jewelry) and hike on the Bartram and Appalachian Trails.

Stones and minerals are on display amid the foggy hills.

Pendulum-Necklaces I made are for sale at Sheffield Gem Mine’s gift shop.

It’s going to be an interesting week, with all that’s going on in the valley and the outside world! Send me a message if you’ll be in the area or if you’d like to order any stones or jewelry. I’ll post another story after the event with what’s coming next.
